What Botanist Studio is
Software made by Botanist Media that helps an organisation turn its own research and collections into video ideas. It is provided to organisations under a separate agreement with Botanist Media. This page describes how it is used by the people inside those organisations.
If your organisation has an agreement with us, that agreement governs the relationship between us and them. Nothing here replaces or overrides it.
Getting access
Access is by invitation. Somebody who administers Botanist Studio for your organisation invites your email address, and you sign in with that address. There is no public sign-up, and signing in does not by itself give you access to anything.
Your access can be withdrawn by your organisation or by us at any time, usually because you have changed roles or left.
Using it
Use it for the work of the organisation that invited you. Do not share your sign-in with anybody else, and do not attempt to reach material belonging to organisations you are not a member of.
The content your organisation puts into Botanist Studio stays your organisation’s. We do not claim ownership of it.
What the software produces
Botanist Studio uses automated systems, including AI models, to suggest story ideas and to score them. Those suggestions are a starting point for a person, not a finished judgement, and they can be wrong. Anything produced here should be checked by somebody before it is published or acted on.
Availability
We work to keep it running, and it may be unavailable at times for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Where your organisation has an agreement with us that sets out availability commitments, that agreement is the one that applies.
